People commit crime for selfish reason.

Nowadays,  crime becomes more prevalent in our society. There are many reasons why the crime happened at this time, one of the reasons crime is increase because of selfish reason. Crime is defined as an act of bad things that people do such as theft, robbery, rape and others. People who did this crime called criminal. While selfish related to the priority of personal interests, that ignored other people purpose. It is agreed that people commit crime for selfish reason.

One of the reason is greedy, they  want to fulfill their  jealous and to survive in their life.  In this society, people tend to commit crimes to get more money because they want to increase the living standard such as having a luxury life. In this case,  some people can make it but some people fail. If they cannot make it , they will tend to commit crimes such as  bribery. For instance, luxury car and branded bags will upgrade their status. Consequently, if they are having strong desire to have more money, they will tend to go against the laws and get involved in many illegal activities like robbery. Besides, they do not care about others and they just want to get more money to enjoy their  life. In brief, committing  crimes for money is a selfish action.

Another reason why people commit crime for selfish reason is because they want to fulfill their lost. If people are feeling very lonely and they have strong desire to do some immoral activities such as sexual harassment  towards a girl by force. For example, when men see sexy and attractive girls walking on the road, they are being tempted and this will urge them to rapped those girls. This is because they want to vent their emotion and fulfill their lust and they do not care about others  feelings. Besides, people tend to commit crimes to fulfill their lust such as raping or killing people for excitement. If people  involved in triangle love such as when two girls are in love with the same guy, both of them might feel jealous with each other and end up with fighting. If this matter turns serious, it might also end  with a murder case. The girl will to murder the enemy girl, so that she can own the guy  for herself.

Last but not least, people commit crime for their own benefits because they want to survive in their life. Without any education, they could not get a proper job to survive a living in the high cost standard in the city. As a result, this will lead them to commit crimes such as kidnapping and robbery to survive. Besides, they need food, shelter and other physical needs of life that lead them to commit crime for their own survival. Thus, they less care about the cosequences of their action and even ignore the pain of the victims from the actions that they have done. Other  than that, some people are lazy to work for their life and always think about to go for an easy way so that they will tend to commit crimes for selfish reasons for instance stealing, break-in houses and car  thieves. Therefore, commiting crimes for survival in their life is a selfish action.

In conclusion, it is totally agreed that people commit crimes for their own purposes. Their selfish action is due to craving for money, fulfilling their lust or jealousy and surviving in their life. All of these are also not a good excuse for commiting crimes and these problems have to be resolved as soon as possible which needs the cooperation between the government and citizen of Malaysia.

EUTHANASIA

What is Euthanasia?

Euthanasia is the process of painlessly helping a terminally ill person to die. Known also as assisted suicide or mercy killing, euthanasia is illegal for humans in the United States. Generally, euthanasia is performed by lethal injection, using the same drugs as those on death row are executed.

Types of Euthanasia

  1. Passive euthanasia
  2. Active euthanasia
  3. Assisted euthanasia
  • Passive euthanasia

    • "Passive euthanasia" is usually defined as withdrawing medical treatment with the deliberate intention of causing the patient's death.

    • For example, if a patient requires kidney dialysis to survive, and the doctors disconnect the dialysis machine, the patient will presumably die fairly soon.

    • Perhaps the classic example of passive euthanasia is a "do not resuscitate order".

    • Normally if a patient has a heart attack or similar sudden interruption in life functions, medical staff will attempt to revive them. If they make no such effort but simply stand and watch as the patient dies, this is passive euthanasia.

      • Active euthanasia

*      The active acceleration of a “good” death use of drugs etc, whether by oneself or with the aid of a doctor

*      Active euthanasia is often very controversial due to the fact that a doctor or other medical professional must actively make an effort to end the life of a patient.
*      This is typically done for a patient who repeatedly requests the end of his or her life.
*      Most doctors who perform active euthanasia will only perform it on someone who is suffering from an illness that has greatly reduced his or her quality of life and which has no foreseeable treatment.

  • Assisted euthanasia

o   Voluntary euthanasia is the act of ending a life painlessly or allowing a person to die by withholding medical measures.

o   The phrase 'physician assisted suicide/dying' is often used. This refers to when a doctor prescribes a medication which the patient will take with the end result being their death.

o   As the law currently stands in the UK assisted dying is not allowed in any form. In May 2006 a bill which would have allowed terminally ill people to be helped to die was blocked.

o   There are only 3 countries and 1 US state where assisted suicide is legal - these are Switzerland, The Netherlands, Belgium and Oregon in the US.

o   Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide are highly controversial topics that have been fiercely debated for many years and have been front page news many times in recent years. The most recent and well known case was that of Diane Pretty in 2003.

Conclusion

Euthanasia is a matter of continuing controversy, a tinderbox for debate, an issue on which positions range widely and include enthusiastic advocacy of euthanasia, guarded acceptance of euthanasia, outright rejection of euthanasia, and vehement condemnation of euthanasia, equating it with murder, genocide, or worse. But who knows? Euthanasia is an area in which honest people may still differ.
